In Arizona we have something called the Motorcycle Safety Fund. It is administered by the Governor’s Office of Highway Safety (AZ GOHS). The fund collects $1 for each motorcycle registration in the state and uses that money for motorcycle safety programs. One of those programs, run by the Arizona Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Foundation (AMSAF), provides scholarships for motorcycle rider courses at all levels. In this video, Director Alberto Gutier discusses the importance of that program, and the need to treat motorcyclists (bikers) with respect. Check it out.
