NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V620000
Side Stand May Open Unexpectedly While Riding
Summary: Ducati North America (Ducati) is recalling certain 2018-2020 XDiavel S and XDiavel Standard motorcycles. The side stand bracket may fail, causing the side stand to open while riding and resulting in an unexpected engine shutdown. Unexpected engine shutdown while riding can increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 842
Remedy: Dealers will install a new side stand bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 3, 2023. Owners may contact Ducati customer service at 1-888-391-5446. Ducati’s number for this recall is SRV-RCL-23-004.

August 15, 2023 … Recall ~
NHTSA Campaign Number: 23V582000
Engine Stall from Improperly Assembled Fuel Line
Summary: Indian Motorcycle Company (Indian) is recalling certain 2023 Challenger, Pursuit Dark Horse Icon w/Premium Package, Pursuit Dark Horse w/Premium Package, and Pursuit Limited w/Premium Package motorcycles. The fuel line may have been improperly assembled, which can result in an engine stall. An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash or injury.
Potential Number of Units Affected: 45
Remedy: Dealers will replace the fuel line, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed September 12, 2023. Owners may contact Indian customer service at 1-877-204-3697. Indian’s number for this recall is I-23-06.
