2015 Too Broke for Sturgis Rally was a great success

Well gang, the 2015 Too Broke For Sturgis Rally (TBFS) that was held in June at Mormon Lake Arizona, USA is now in the books and by all accounts it was a great time and a great success. TBFS is the annual biker rally and fundraiser held by ABATE of Arizona, a motorcycle rights organization that, this year, working with other state motorcycle rights organizations (MROs),, was able to get an arbitrary handle bar height restriction removed. In the past they have been instrumental in killing proposed helmet laws, ending a ridiculous motorcycle emissions test, and fighting many other battles on behalf of Arizona motorcycle riders.

The event was held in June again this year as an attempt to beat the monsoon rains that often dampened past years. This year there were a few showers, and some thunderstorms passed by very closely, but all of that was brief and light and di NOT dampen the spirits of any party goers as far as we could tell.

Here is a video from one of the many bike games (we didn’t record any others as we were having too good a time and were in a hurry to get to the steak fry hosted by Mormon Lake Lodge – YUM!)

And here is a link to my personal photo gallery. If you were there, maybe you are in a pic!
